By buying containers to meet all customer needs, we offer great value through consolidated purchases and good supply chain relationships. It's the same combination that also enables us to maintain a stock of containers with our supplier to meet forecasted demand with customers. So if containers are needed quickly, we always do our best to satisfy requirements.
Our standard container fleet consists of transport, disposal and specialist packages. Each container is IP2 rated and suitable for road and rail transport anywhere in the UK. All containers are classed as approved packages in line with the Low Level Waste Repository's Waste Acceptance Criteria. Along with the container, we also provide a Certificate of Approval, an Operator Instruction and Drawings as well as guidance every step of the way. The range of packaging solutions is unique in that they have been developed in consultation - and specifically - to meet customers' low level waste management needs.
Unique packages are sometimes needed, so we work closely with customers to work through the requirement and devise the best packaging solution. Innovative solutions devised so far include the use of containers for international shipments, and increased fissile material. We have also developed bespoke restraint systems and one off designs. Added benefits we provide include full design and the coordination of any safety case and licensing changes needed to support the agreed package solution.
