A wide variety of materials are suitable for thermal treatment, which means more opportunities to reduce the volume of waste needing disposal. In fact, thermal treatment can reduce waste volumes by up to 95% and delivers real cost savings when compared to direct disposal of low level waste. The list of materials we accept for thermal treatment is extensive, but most commonly includes: paper and cardboard, packaging materials, plastic sheeting and protective clothing.
