17th November 2009 Meeting

The 8th National Low Level Waste Strategy Group meeting was held on 17th November 2009 at in Warrington and was hosted by URS Washington Division.

The overall purpose for this important meeting was to update membership on the status of the UK Nuclear Industry LLW Strategy and Strategic Environmental Assessment consultation and to discuss our path forward for implementation. Topics to be covered at the meeting include:

  • Draft Nuclear Industry LLW Strategy and SEA consultation
  • UK Nuclear Industry LLW Management Plan initiatives
  • National LLW Strategy Group involvement in strategy implementation
