The 6th National Low Level Waste Strategy Group meeting was held on 21st May 2009 in Warrington and was hosted by URS Washington Division.

The overall purpose for this important May meeting was to update the membership on the status of the UK Nuclear Industry LLW Strategy and National LLW Management Plan initiatives. Topics covered at the May meeting included:
