19th - 20th June 2008 Meeting
The second National Low Level Waste Strategy Group meeting was held on 19th / 20th June 2008 at the Hilton at Manchester Airport. This was the next step in the development of a National LLW Strategy. Presentations were provided to the Strategy Group members and participants by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, LLW Repository Ltd and Strategy Group members to further develop the topical strategies and share best practice to support the development of the integrated National LLW Programme. Facilitated discussion workshops took place to seek input from Strategy Group members on the following topics:

A revised Terms of Reference for the Strategy Group was issued at the second meeting for review and consultation. The attached document highlights the changes from the previous version issued at the first meeting based on comments received during the initial consultation period. Comments and responses should be directed to Matthew Clark at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority by 18th July 2008. This document is to be endorsed at the third meeting in August 2008.
