26th - 27th February 2009 Meeting

The 5th National Low Level Waste Strategy Group meeting was hosted on 26-27 February 2009 by Scottish Government in Edinburgh.

The overall purpose for this important February meeting was to solicit membership review and comment on the emerging NDA National LLW Strategy and on initiatives and actions contained in the draft National LLW Management Plan.  Topics covered at the February meeting included:

  • Programme of Work, accomplishments, and International Benchmarks;
  • Review of emerging NDA National LLW Strategy;
  • Draft National LLW Management Plan;
  • Further update on programme and progress in delivering SEA;
  • Dounreay Site Update.
