UK Nuclear Industry LLW Management Plan
The UK Nuclear Industry LLW Management Plan sets out the overall plan for developing and implementing an integrated LLW programme throughout the UK. The LLW Management Plan identifies the scope, schedule, and resources (how, when, and who) needed to conduct the tasks for improving LLW management through the entire waste lifecycle from waste generation to final disposal, integrating the results of previous strategic studies.
This is the first annual review and update of the LLW Management Plan that has incorporated ongoing optioneering and other underpinning studies, including a detailed Strategic Review of the current ‘baseline’ of LLW management programmes at NDA sites.
