Site Overview
The LLWR is entering a period of significant change. UK Nuclear Waste Management Limited (UKNWM Ltd) will take on the role of new Parent Body Organisation (PBO) from 1st April 2008 and the associated responsibility for running the facility. In addition, it is recognised that external influences, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) strategy, and a clearer definition of the radiological capacity of the site may impact longevity of low level waste (LLW) operations.
