Document Structure
The 2011 ESC comprises two levels of documentation. There is one Level 1 or Main Report, which presents the key safety arguments of the Safety Case. The sixteen Level 2 reports present in a structured way the evidence and analyses that support the key safety arguments. There is also a third level of documentation, which are the references to the Level 1 and 2 reports. About one hundred of these we have identified as key references and are provided on this website along with the Level 1 and 2 reports. There is also a Non-technical Summary of the ESC.
