Through stakeholder engagement and regulatory compliance, we work hard to minimise the environmental impact of our operations. Our primary goal is to protect our employees, the public and the environment.
Site Monitoring
All discharges to the environment from the LLW Repository site are minimised and monitored. We carry out a full monitoring programme to assess the environmental impact of discharges. We conduct environmental sampling both on and around the site. Results from this monitoring programme are routinely provided to the Environment Agency.
