- Support to NDA competition process and transition to a new Parent Body Organisation (PBO)
- Decommissioning of Plutonium Contaminated Material (PCM) facilities with ongoing retrieval of uranium hexafluoride (Hex) cylinders, drums and secondary waste
- Safe and cost-effective remediation and decommissioning of PCM facilities by 2010
- Detailed design work for Vault 9 and planning for future Low Level Waste (LLW) storage/disposal capacity
- Continuing LLW receipt, treatment, storage/disposal operations
- Ongoing work to achieve consensus on site end state, radiological capacity of site and site assessment of closure measures
